After a big day on the hill at Snowbird, take advantage of one of the 30+ different treatments, one of which is sure to make your entire body feel better. Yoga and movement classes get the kinks out. There’s both and men’s and women’s dry saunas, a co-ed eucalyptus steam room, solarium relaxation area and a rooftop sundeck with a whirlpool hot tub. Spend an hour or two or stay until close!

Only a couple of minutes away from Brighton, it’s an ideal spot to shake the chill off. An easy guided trek through a moon and lantern-lit forest brings you to a freestanding Mongolian-style yurt and quite a unique four-course dining experience. The trek entails putting on a pair of snowshoes (which are provided), but the journey is less than a half-mile. Once there, you sit family style as the chef prepares the meal right in front of you. Be sure to call ahead to reserve a slot or inquire about more information surrounding this exciting culinary adventure.
If you sit at this restored 1890s bar, you’re very likely to share the same seats as Butch Cassidy’s Hole in the Wall Gang. The bar was originally located in Thermopolis, Wyoming, but was moved to Sundance Mountain Resort by none other than Robert Redford in more recent years. This original Rosewood Bar is truly something to experience, especially on weekends when live music fills up the place. Enjoy an interesting selection of cocktails, beer and wine, plus a creative, seasonal menu, all the while surrounded by the simplicity and charm of the Old West.

An average sized person burns about 400 calories an hour downhill skiing; after four or five hours on the Park City Mountain Resort’s slopes, that warrants treating yourself to a few things off the menu of this historic bar. Casual pub fare defines the menu—including favorites like their World Famous Buffalo Burgers, fish n’ chips, and Buffalo wings. Drinks include local draft and bottled beer, wine, and signature cocktails made from bar full of whiskeys, tequilas and other spirits.
If you’re a foodie, the EBS Lounge’s apres menu will have you racing down the mountain so you can enjoy dishes like turkey chili nachos and freshly baked cookies. Add a Champion Margarita, a pint of beer, a glass of wine, or even a spiked hot chocolate or cider and chill watching the day’s sporting events. On the weekends the lounge, located on the upper level of the Snow Park Lodge, kicks it up a notch with live music.

Some of the greatest snow on earth is found at Snowbasin Resort, so you might have to force yourself to come indoors by the end of the day. You won’t be disappointed at this gastro-pub where you’ll warm up inside and out. The fare is a mixed-bag of small plates, soups, salads and sandwiches. Pair with a specialty cocktail, like a Winter Spice Old-Fashioned, or something from the mega list of beer and wine. The place is hopping with live music every weekend!

Not too far from Beaver Mountain Ski Area in Garden City is this newly renovated theatre, showing only the most iconic and beloved classic movies ever produced. Showtimes begin after all the lifts at the resort stop, so there’s plenty of time to get a full day of skiing in before sitting down with a bucket of popcorn and a box of Milk Duds. You can find special pricing on “date nights," Friday and Saturday. Be sure to check their calendar to find a showtime for you and your ski buddies.
For the adrenaline junkie, you won’t want the adventure to stop after spending the day flying down the mountain. After you head off the slopes at Snowbasin, head to Ogden Valley for one of the most magnificent snowmobile tours available in the western United States. With incredible views of the Wasatch Range, you’ll go over hills and valleys and blaze through open meadows on an array of different snowmobile options. You’ll be brushing elbows with wildlife, such as elk, moose, fox, eagles, just to name a few. Be sure to read up on the tours available and choose a good match for you and your snow crew!
