You can sign up for lessons, too. Fourth graders can sign up for a free season pass that includes a lesson, rentals, and a half-price lift ticket.

Located in Lewisberry, Pennsylvania, Roundtop Mountain Resort is open for business and great family fun every day during the winter except Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Eve. Located in Boalsburg, Pennsylvania, Tussey Mountain was opened in the 1960s for public use, and has changed a bit over the years. Now with 50 acres of skiing and snowboarding slopes, Tussey Mountain is one of the most fun places to go for winter sport activities. Open every day except major holidays from December to mid-March, Tussey Mountain has seven trails for skill levels from beginner to advanced and offers night skiing for those interested.
Family-friendly Whitetail Resort in Mercersburg, Pennsylvania, is a great place to learn your favorite winter sport. With the help of knowledgeable instructors, this four-season resort is the perfect family getaway. If you’re just introducing skiing and snowboarding to your young ones, you can start them off right with one of the educational programs offered at Whitetail Resort. There’s a mountain camp for kids aged four through 12, a “Ski with Me” lesson that allows parent and child to learn together, and private lessons available.
