In Alabama, all hunters whether resident or non-resident, must have a valid Alabama hunting license. You can only hunt game that is legal to hunt and only during the appropriate seasons. Most seasons are also open only during certain times of day, so be sure to pay attention to the times during which you may hunt for the game you're hunting. In order to hunt on private property that is not your own or that is not part of a state partnership, you need to obtain permission from the land owner. A complete guide the Alabama's hunting regulations can be found in the Alabama Hunting & Fishing Digest, which is available for download from the eRegulations website.
