$500 CASH PRIZE TO WINNING BOAT!
Suffolk Ducks Unlimited will host its 9th Annual Croaker Classic & Crab Feast at the Nansemond River Duck Club. This is an all age’s event that that will include a day of fishing on the Nansemond River followed by a weigh in, awards ceremony, raffles, trophies, steamed blue crabs and low country boil. Participants can launch from any desired ramp. The eligible fishing area is the whole Nansemond River extending downriver to the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel. Lines are In the water at 12:01 A.M. and Out of the water by 1:30 P.M.
Event Schedule:
• 12:01 A.M. Lines In Water, 1:30 P.M. Lines Out of Water.
• 1:30 - 2:30 Weigh In at the Nansemond River Duck Club
• 1:30 - 4:00 Crabs, Low Country Boil, Beer, and Raffles at the NRDC
• 3:00 Awards Ceremony
• 6:00 Final Boat Shuttle Departs NRDC to Butler's Ramp
Entry Details:
• $650 per CORPORATE Boat of 4 fishermen including 4 Dinner Tickets. The Captain receives a DU Bronze Sponsorship and all others receive DU Memberships. *INCLUDES EVENT BANNER*
• $400 per Boat of 4 fishermen including 4 Dinner Tickets. The Captain receives a DU Bronze Sponsorship and all others receive DU Memberships.
• $300 Corporate Event Sponsor - Includes only and Event Banner - If you cannot attend but would like your corporate banner hung at the event.
• $100 Single DU Membership - This enables 1 person entry to the event but not the fishing tournament. The participant does receive a DU Membership.
Award & Calcutta Details:
• Croaker Classic Winner is any tournament participating boat with the 3 Largest Combined Croaker.
Winner shall receive the $500 cash prize.
• Croaker Calcutta - $100 additional per boat. 50/50 Cash to the largest Croaker.
• Catfish Calcutta - $100 additional per boat. 50/50 Cash to the largest Catfish.
• Puppy Drum Calcutta - $100 additional per boat. 50/50 Cash to the largest Puppy Drum.
• Kid Croaker Calcutta (14 years old or less) - $20 additional per kid. 50/50 Cash to the largest Kid Caught Croaker.
