Annual Bethlehem Christmas Town Festival

Highlights of the festival include over 70 vendors selling handcrafted items just in time for holiday shopping, along with a multitude of delicious food choices to make everyone’s visit complete. There will be an illuminated fire truck procession after the tree lighting on Friday, a 5K “Santa Made Me Do It” Road Race on Saturday morning, and a Christmas Vehicle Exhibition and Decorating Contest on Saturday afternoon.

The Christmas Town Festival is run entirely by volunteers, and the purpose of the event is to raise money to help support Memorial Hall, the community center in Bethlehem, by holding an affordable, family friendly, Christmas Festival.

Schedule:

8:30 AM — “Santa Made Me Do It” 5K Run Registration – In front of Memorial Hall

10:00 AM — Race Begins

9:30 AM — Festival Opens

Ornament Sales – Town Hall (Upper Level)

Craft & Food Vendors – Memorial Hall, Christ Church Hall, Town Hall, American Legion, Firehouse (2 rooms), & Main Street

Scavenger Hunt (Free Entry) – Information Trailer

Free Children’s Crafts – Library (Downstairs)

Photos with Santa (10 AM–4 PM) – Library (Downstairs)

Balloon Art – Library (Downstairs)

Cookie Sale – Library (Upper Level)

10:30 AM & 11:30 AM — Christmas Concerts (2 shows) – Midnight Anthem, Christ Episcopal Church

11:00 AM–3:00 PM — Christmas Vehicle Decorating Contest – Behind Town Hall

1:00 PM — The East Hill Saxophone Ensemble – Christ Episcopal Church

2:00 PM — Henry Church, Guitarist – Christ Episcopal Church

4:00 PM — Festival Closes – Have a Merry Christmas!

Location:

The festival is in downtown Bethlehem, CT at the junction of Route 61 and Route 132. It extends from the top of the town green south along Main Street.
