There will be 1700 people and 40 to 45 breweries.
Breweries will give out 2 oz. samples - the only payment you make is to enter the festival.
There will be merchandise available for purchase but preordering your shirt on the website will ensure we have your size. We will also have local vendors and food trucks with items for purchase.
In addition to breweries and delicious food, we will have 3 badass bands playing during the fest and free fermentation seminars where you can learn about fermented foods from around the world! This year's bands (see additional details below):
THE WEASELS
The Weasels are a funk-fueled rock band blending raw 70s energy with 90s attitude. Having been compared to Red Hot Chili Peppers and Aerosmith, be prepared for big drums, riff-heavy guitars, and a bass that bites back. Based in Boone, The Weasels bring a sweaty, unfiltered live show that feels like a garage party on the edge of chaos. Loud, loose, and locked in.
THE CONUNDRUMS
THE CONUNDRUMS ARE a band from Western NC featuring Ed Midgett (Guitar and Vocals), Robby Archer (Guitar and Vocals), Marc Chabot (Bass), Tom Whyte (Harmonica and Vocals), and Chris Osmond (Drums and Percussion). They sprinkle a few original songs along with lots of "original covers" of popular blues and classic rock tunes into their sets. The boys have been playing for decades in different bands and this incarnation plays bar-band good-time rock and blues but can strip it down for acoustic shows as well.
RASTACOUSTIC
Rastacoustic is a charismatic ensemble. The band plays a mix of upbeat positive originals, classic reggae songs (Bob Marley, Peter Tosh, Steel Pulse, etc.), and a number of familiar covers ranging from Grateful Dead and Beastie Boys to The Beatles and Cypress Hill. Every show is one drop, hip-hop, and high-energy rock-steady fun.
Our mission is to connect community and celebrate life through uplifting musical experiences.
We perform and tour to provide people with a safe place to let loose and be themselves in a positive environment of love and unity. We perform to bring musical diversity and provide a style of music that doesn't regularly come through our region
There will be shuttles to transport you from the ASU campus to the fest (see additional details below) and, if you drive to the fest, you can leave your car at the festival grounds over night if you are unable to drive home or get a DD.
Expect limited taxis and mobile car ride services in Boone during the event.
Once in the festival the beer, music, and seminars are free (seats are limited at seminars).
Food and merchandise are available for purchase.
Water will be available for free.
