FREE Pop-up Concert
A special pop-up event in historic downtown Harpers Ferry (Time and exact location TBD; Informal event, approx. 20 mins, no seating / no tickets or RSVPs)
Inspired by the story of John Brown, composer Ailbhe McDonagh wrote her first string quartet, "Appalachian" as a commission for the first ever season of ACMF back in 2021. Concert is free and open to the public. Park visitors will pay entrance fee for Harpers Ferry National Historical Park; park at the Visitor's Center (171 Shoreline Drive, Harpers Ferry, WV) and ride the shuttle to downtown Harpers Ferry.
