Indulge in the flavors of New Orleans at the Bayou Bon Vivant, a three-day celebration of the tastes, tunes, and traditions of the Crescent City. From juicy handfuls of crawfish to world-renowned N’awlins jazz musicians, the Bayou Bon Vivant captures the vibrant spirit of Louisiana and transforms it into a weekend-long party Friday-Sunday, May 16 - 18, 2025 at Town Point Park along the Downtown Norfolk Waterfront! A wide-ranging and fun experience for the entire family, the Bayou Bon Vivant also features an Arts Market featuring 30+ New Orleans crafters, crocodile and reptile exhibits, mouth-watering Cajun dishes such as beignets, gumbo, etouffees, and jambalaya.

The Bayou Bon Vivant brings the unique food culture of New Orleans to Norfolk and spices things up with chefs straight from Louisiana that are sure to bring that special spirit to life in Town Point Park. Festival guests are in for a real treat as they find more than 8,000 pounds of live crawfish right out of the bayou, as well as many other other traditional cajun dishes available for purchase!

New Orleans Arts Market:

The Louisiana Crafts Guild is a juried organization of Fine Crafts Artisans located throughout the state of Louisiana and the southern region of the United States. Because of their stringent jury requirements and dedication to excellence in fine craft, only three out of every ten applicants is approved for membership. Members of the Guild are active in their community and give back by providing demonstrations to schools, churches, libraries and other organizations. Their members’ generosity abounds with donations to support community events, non-profit organizations and fundraisers.  Select pieces of art provided by the Crafts Guild will be on display and available for purchase during the event.
