The Big Butler Fair gates open at 9:00 am.

The Big Butler Fair is the largest agricultural fair in Western PA. The event draws over 100,000 people from across Pennsylvania, Ohio, New York and West Virginia to enjoy 9 days of food, fireworks, carnival rides, games, demolition derbies, concerts, truck pulls and the Y108 Freedom Festival. Our fair is considered by many to be the best of its kind in the country.

Enjoy the best in carnival rides and state-of-the-art equipment for the ultimate in amusement this year at the Big Butler Fair (presented by Powers Great American Midways)! Whether you’re a thrill-seeker or just want to take a leisurely ride around the fairgrounds, we’ve got something for you. And we have plenty for the kiddies, too!

Fireworks start at dark. Start time can vary due to crowds coming through the gate. They typically start between 9:00pm and 9:30pm.

Commemorate US independence from Great Britain and the July 4, 1776 signing of the Declaration of Independence by enjoying the time-honored family tradition of Fourth of July fireworks!

Celebrate the 4th of July and American independence with the whole family. Make a day of it or just enjoy the evening with us. Grab your coziest blanket or a few lawn chairs and enjoy an evening of food, festivities and fireworks!
