Birding Walk at Point Au Roche State Park: Join Us for a Nature Adventure
Discover the beauty of birdwatching at Point Au Roche State Park! Join Champlain Area Trails on Friday, September 5th, at 9 a.m. for an engaging birding walk at the Point Au Roche Nature Center in Plattsburgh.
This event runs from 9 to 10:30 a.m. and is perfect for nature enthusiasts of all skill levels. Our friendly guide, Kristin Collins, an environmental educator at Point Au Roche State Park Nature Center, will lead the walk. While she's not an expert birder, she brings a deep love for nature and an interest in birdwatching.
Explore the Great Outdoors:
Located on the stunning northwestern shore of Lake Champlain, Point Au Roche State Park features an excellent combination of forested and open areas. As we stroll a few miles along the trails, we will look and listen for birds in this region. Enjoy breathtaking views of Lake Champlain and lush forests during this delightful morning outing!
Important Information:
- This is an outdoor walk in September, so be prepared for some mud and bugs.
