CALARAT CHALLENGE TRAIL RUNNING FESTIVAL
Hey Boulder County, join us Labor Day weekend for the Calarat Challenge Trail Running Festival. All of our trail races start and finish at the Cal-Wood Education Center, and are run on a number of different single trails throughout the private properties of Cal-Wood and Balarat Outdoor Education education center.
8:00AM - Sunday August 31st
• 10K
• 1/2 Marathon
• Stay Overnight
We have cabin lodging or camping on Saturday night, as well as a great pasta dinner prepared.
• Child Care
If you are a parent participating in the 10K or 1/2 Marathon on Sunday, then consider our Kid Adventure Time Program for 5 - 10 year olds. Cal-Wood Instructors will provide and supervise outdoor activities from 7:30 - 10:30AM, so that you can enjoy your race!
• Post Race
Celebrate your accomplishment with your family, friends, and fellow participants at our after race party. We will have food, beer, and music!
Cal-Wood Education Center is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to providing unique outdoor education experiences that inspire a greater appreciation for the natural world. They aim to offer enriching environmental education programs that foster a sense of wonder, responsibility, and stewardship in students of all ages, with a particular focus on including underrepresented and low-income communities.
