Celebrate America’s Independence Day by learning about America’s past! Enjoy stepping back in time in Heritage Hill’s four historic areas: the La Baye Fur Trade, 1830s Fort Howard, our Growing Community of the late 1800s, and turn-of-the century Agricultural Area. Costumed historic interpreters will be available to share stories of the past and help you get your hands on history with a variety of family-friendly activities.

-Spend the day at the park! Pack a picnic lunch to enjoy on our picturesque grounds.
-From 11am – 3pm, enjoy a lemonade or adult beverage from our bar in the Lower Level of the Education Center

NEW This Year! Old fashioned Watermelon seed spitting and whipped cream pie eating contest. Register at the front desk.  ($2 entry fee per Pie Eating Time Slot)
