The City of Winder is throwing a birthday party—and the whole community is invited. Celebrate Winder returns Friday, July 11, from 6–10 p.m. at Jug Tavern Park to mark the city’s 132nd birthday with live music, food trucks, and a fireworks show.
This year’s festivities will feature a high-energy performance by ACE Party Band at 6:30 p.m., a variety of food vendors, and a fireworks display at 9:30 p.m.
“Celebrate Winder is a great reminder of what makes this city special,” said Mayor Jimmy Terrell. “It’s always a joy to see families, neighbors, and friends come together downtown to enjoy a summer night filled with music, good food, and fireworks. I look forward to it every year—and I invite everyone to join us for this year’s celebration for an unforgettable evening together.”
VIP seating is available for those who want the best view of the entertainment and fireworks. Each VIP table includes seating for eight in a roped-off area, a center-stage view, and access to a VIP bar line. Preferred parking passes are also available for purchase.
