The CCC Vocal Jazz Festival has a long-standing tradition of promoting education and outstanding performance in the northwest, the birthplace of collegiate Vocal Jazz. The festival brings young singers together to learn about jazz, America’s authentic art form. New this year is the exciting addition of an a capella category!
Awards include The Spirit Award, Division I, II, II awards and Outstanding Soloist/Outstanding Instrumentalist Award, which includes a full scholarship to CCC for two years. Each junior high or high school group will be offered three clinic sessions. Ensembles will have the opportunity to work two with esteemed choral educators and a special session for the instrumentalists to work with a professional rhythm section.
