The Newport Beer Run — formerly the Craft Brew Races — returns at Fort Adams State Park for it’s ninth annual event. Join us for a fun, timed 5K road race and an unforgettable craft beer festival inside the walls of Fort Adams. We’ve got some great local and national beers on tap to greet you at the finish line! Or, skip the run and head straight for the festival with a festival-only ticket.

Course Info:

The Newport Beer Run course is 3.1 mile showcase of beautiful Fort Adams State Park. The race starts on the West side of the fort, loops around and through the historic stone walls, before heading out towards the Eisenhower House and back along the oceanside Bay Walk loop.

Awards:

All 5k finisher’s receive a medal. The top 3 male and female finisher’s receive a branded glass boot. Additionally, the fastest and largest teams receive the famous 1.0 liter drinking boot!

All 5k participants receive a finisher’s medal, pint glass, and entry to the festival — all-samples-included beer tasting, live music, vendors and food trucks selling onsite. All festival-only tickets receive a pint glass and entry to the festival at 12:30 PM. Designated drivers receive entry to the festival where they are welcome to enjoy  designated snacks and non-alcoholic beverages.

What to Bring:

All ticket holders need to bring an ID in order to receive their 21+ bracelet when they pick up their race bib prior to the race. The bracelet must be worn during the race and presented for entry into the Festival. Festival Only and Designated Driver participants must present their ID and their Eventbrite ticket (printed or mobile) at the gate of the Beer Festival at 12:30 PM, following the race for access to the festival.
