From traditional polka music to Americana tunes, Das Fest showcases the best in entertainment across multiple stages.

Food and Bier

Mader's Restaurant and German bier straight off the ship.  Come raise a stein with us and pair it with a giant pretzel, schnitzel sandwich, or a mouth-watering, award-winning bratwurst from local favorite, Lake Geneva Country Meats.

Family-Friendly Activities

Bring the whole family for Dachshund and Corgi races, family games and activities, shopping, a carnival, dancing, wooden shoe carving demonstrations, glass art demos, and plenty of fun for all ages.

3:15 p.m.: Opening Celebration

Ceremonial keg tapping, with free bier from the keg for those 21+ 'til it's gone.

3:30 to 6:30 p.m.: Ed Wagner's Brass Band

Authentic German tunes and impressive yodeling.

7:00 to 10:00 p.m.: The Box Band

Outside the box bluegrass!

Beyond oom-pah tunes.

Taking you back to the 50's and 60's sock hop favorites.

6:30 to 9:30 p.m.: BB & the Honey

Soulful interpretations of rock, blues, and old school country. 

The Barrel Room
Gather with friends and craft brews.

4:00 to 7:00 p.m.: The Steve Schultz Band

You're going to love this up and coming German polka band.

7:00 p.m.: Stein Hoisting Competitions

Men's and women's competitions. Cost to play. Register in advance to guarantee your spot or onsite. Prizes!

Ernst Licht Embroidery and Imports
Traveling to Das Fest from Pennsylvania and bringing hundreds of authentic German dirndls, lederhosen, and many other German collectibles and souvenirs, this is a shop you don't want to miss! Open all 3 days, all festival hours.

4:00 to 8:00 p.m.: Bingo!

You'll need to yell "Volltreffer" if you have the winning card. Cost to play. Located in Handwerker Hall next to the Barrel Room.

Carnival Rides and Games

Hammerschlagen

A traditional game that delivers maximum fun. Cheer on friends or try "den Nagel auf den Kopf treffen" (to hit the nail on the head). Cost to play.

3:00 to 7:00 p.m.: Kid Zone

Free games and activities for kids of all ages. Meet and greets with Dachshunds, Corgis, and Anton, Das Fest's official mascot.

5:00 - 6:00 p.m.: Little Leg Races

Corgis race at 5:00 p.m., Dachshunds race at 5:30 p.m.

Championship race featuring the winners of the Little Leg Races at the 2024 Lake Geneva Oktoberfest at 6:00 p.m.

3:00 to 8:00 p.m.: Mack Glass

Glass art demonstrations and workshops.
