The festival is held each year during Labor Day Weekend. We welcome and encourage all ages to attend, participate or volunteer.

Live Music

12-5PM and 5-10PM: Carnival
Grab a funnel cake, take a spin on the Dizzy Dragons, or get a birds-eye view of De Soto from the Ferris Wheel!

10:30am: Parade

Grab your lawn chairs and join us Saturday morning for the annual parade featuring bands, local businesses, and lots of community spirit.

Parade participation provides additional ways to promote your organization or business and provide entertainment to the community to support De Soto. We are looking forward to having you join us for the 60th annual De Soto Days Festival. 

Prizes awarded to the winners in the following categories: Most Original Float, Most Spirited, Most Creative, Best Performance, Best in Parade, Mayor's Choice

Dunk Tank

De Soto Days is all about community...and we give back every year through proceeds from the dunk tank.

12-4pm: Pie Contest at Reach church

5th Annual Fruit Pie Baking Contest

Show off your baking skills at the 5th annual pie baking contest. Proceeds from pie sales go to the De Soto Food Pantry.

12:00-1 pm: Pie turn in: Reach Church Basement at West Side off Wea St.
1:00 pm: Judging begins
4:00'ish pm: Results Announced at Main Stage
