The Fort Bridger Mountain Man Rendezvous is a mountain man rendezvous in celebration of the Fur Trade Rendezvous Era that occurred in the Rocky Mountains between 1825-1840. It is one of the largest mountain man gatherings in the nation.  

Fort Bridger Mountain Man Rendezvous, held annually the first weekend of September at Fort Bridger Wyoming, this Mountain Man Rendezvous is an experience your family will be sure to remember for years.

Schedule of Events

8am: Flag Ceremony at the Flagpole
8am: Combined Shoot at the Shooting Range
8am: Hawk and Knife Competition
9 am to 12 pm: Archery Competition at the Archery Range
10am: Childrens Games east of the Bandstand (primitive clothing required)
10:30 am: All Registered Participants Shoot for Rifle at Shooting Range
11 am to 4 pm: Primitive Demos at the Bridger Stockade Speaker: David Meek on Legendary Mt Man Joe & Virginia Meek
10 am and 2 pm: Southeast corner of Museum
12:30pm: Flintlock only Shoot at the Shooting Range
11 am, 1 pm, 3 pm and 5 pm: Dusty Mocs Dance Troupe-Native American Dancers at the Bandstand
12 pm, 2 pm and 4 pm: Children's Candy Cannon at the Bandstand
12 pm, 2 pm, and 4 pm: Golden Spike Pipe Band they will be Marching around Trader Row Women Only along with Smoothbore & Pistol Shoot 1:30 pm at the Shooting Range
2:30 pm: Women's Frying Pan Toss east side of the Bandstand
3pm: Mountain Man Run at the Shooting Range
3:30 pm: Mountain Momma Run at the Shooting Range
4pm: Kids Trader Blanket at the Flagpole State of Wyoming State Parks & Historic Associations Martin Lammers Volunteer Award:
4 pm: At the Martin Statue
6pm: Flag Retrieval at the Flagpole
7pm: Council Fire at the Bandstand
8pm: Buckskinner's Ball (or directly after the council fire) east of Bandstand
Featuring "Frayed Knot"
Mountain Folks come and dance or just listen to the music
Gate fees $5.00 per person 12 and up
Children 11 and under are Free
