Join us for the 2nd. Annual Running of the “Foundation 5K” to be held Saturday morning, July 26th at 8:00 AM as we once again run, jog, and walk our way back into the 2025-2026 school year! Racers will enjoy the gently rolling hills on the Silver Comet Trail located in Rockmart, GA, running alongside Euharlee Creek and enjoying the canopy of shade along various parts of the trail. This is a family-friendly, casual event where runners and walkers of all ages and abilities are encouraged!
Awards: Awards will begin approximately at 9:30 am and will be given for the Overall 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Male & Female as well as the top overall Masters Male & Female. Additionally, the Overall Male & Overall Female will be awarded a $100 cash prize (regardless of age.) Each child (14 and under) who finishes the race will receive a “Back2School Bundle” with school supplies for the upcoming year.
Age Groups Awards: Age groups include the following: 10&U, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70+.
