Four on the 4th is one of the main annual fundraisers for Boys & Girls Clubs of SWVA, and they rely on the financial support from this race to provide high-yield, low-cost summer camps and after-school programs for youth who need us most in Roanoke City, Roanoke County, Franklin County, and Montgomery County.
Four on the 4th has become a 4th of July tradition among friends and family in the Roanoke Valley to kick off the holiday's festivities. We invite you to help us break our record of participants and register for Four on the 4th! Vinton was such an excellent host that we are continuing the race in Vinton, starting and finishing at the Vinton War Memorial.
RACE DAY DETAILS
Four on the 4th will start at 8am on July 4th, 2025. Race day registration and packet pick-up will be held from 7am - 7:45am. The race starts at 8am sharp! There is a 90-minute course limit.

KIDS FUN RUN
This $5 event is a great way to get your kid out running and walking! The Four on the 4th Kids Fun Run will start at 9am and is approximately a half mile in total. The run will be about a quarter mile point to point then the walk back to the start will be about another quarter mile. Parents are allowed to join their kids!
All kids will receive a race bib along with a Kids Fun Run finishers medal when they cross the finish line!
The Kids Fun Run starts at 9am. Registration will be open until 7:45am race morning.
The awards ceremony will start at 9:30am.
