Get ready to make waves because the 82nd Annual 4th of July Parade is setting sail with a brand-new theme—River Float! This year, we’re bringing the celebration to the water with a fleet of decorated pontoon and fishing boats gliding along the Delaware River, making for a truly unforgettable Independence Day in Titusville, New Jersey. We can’t wait to see both longtime participants and new faces join in on this incredible riverfront tradition!
Our Parade festivities kick off at 10AM when our riverside food tent opens, serving up all-American classics like juicy hamburgers, hotdogs, and the iconic pork roll alongside refreshing birch beer ice cream floats. A huge thank you to the Prospect Heights Fire Department for keeping our appetites satisfied! Enjoy live music from The River Dogs, whimsical face painting by Bernadette Sigato, and dazzling balloon creations from Eddie Kazoo. Plus, don’t miss out on special surprises from Bear Tavern students as they bring their school spirit to the parade!
Our Opening Ceremony begins at 11AM, led by our fantastic Masters of Ceremonies, David and Annette Earling. The schedule flows smoothly into the adorable Baby Parade, the colorful Bike & Scooter Parade, and finally, the main event—the Big Parade at 12:30PM sharp! We’re honored to announce this year’s Grand Marshal: Ms. Patricia Brundage! Get ready to cheer as vibrant floats, community groups, and our local heroes in emergency vehicles make their way along the route. Keep an eye out for musical performances from Freedom Brass, Uptown String, Payday Quartet, and more!
This year’s theme, Drifting into Tradition is making a splash in our original colors, so be sure to stop by the grandstand to grab some exclusive merchandise, including t-shirts, tank tops, hats, and koozies!
