9-11am: Wildlife in the Wetlands Bike Tour at Night Heron Park

This tour will take you on a leisurely bike ride to discover the fascinating wildlife that inhabits Kiawah's diverse ecosystems. You'll gain a better understanding of the beaches, dunes, maritime forest, ponds, and salt marshes that stretch across the island, while learning each ecosystem's unique characteristics and covering about 6 miles.

$40/person, does not include bike rental. Recommended for ages 8+. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Reservations required, please call 843.768.6001. 24-hour cancellation policy.

2-3pm: Ocean Seining at West Beach Pool Shop 

Have you ever been puzzled over something you found on the beach? Do you wonder what critters are in the water swimming with you? Discover marine life firsthand as we comb the beach and pull our seine net through the surf. Don't forget your bathing suit as we pull the net together!

4-5pm: Clay Frame Creations at Turtles' Nest Art Studio

Get creative and craft a personalized wooden frame with our Clay Frame Creations workshop. Each participant will receive one wooden frame and two packets of air-dry clay to decorate. Add your unique touch by embellishing the frame with shells, tiles, beads, and other fun elements to create a one-of-a-kind masterpiece.

$20/frame. No reservations required.

5:30-6:30pm: Glass Fusing 101 at Turtles' Nest Art Studio

Ready to create your own glass art? Join us where you'll learn how to layer and design colorful glass pieces to make your own unique masterpiece. Choose from a wide variety of color options and explore the art of fusing glass to create your own custom designs. Each participant will receive a 4×4 tile to work on, with upgrade options available for larger pieces. Pre-cut glass pieces are available for children, making this a fun and accessible craft for the whole family!

6-8pm: Island Idol at Night Heron Park Stage

Island Idol is here to showcase all of Kiawah's amazing talent. Meet us at the Night Heron Park Stage to wow the crowd and sing your hearts out. From Disney Favorites to Karaoke classics, we have thousands of songs to choose from! This event is complimentary, no reservations required. A limited amount of picnic table seating available. Blankets and beach chairs recommended.
