Get ready for a wildly entertaining day at the 25th Annual Gulfport GeckoFest!
Known as one of the most vibrant street festivals on Florida’s Gulf Coast, GeckoFest is a free, family-friendly event that brings the community together with an unforgettable mix of live music, street performances, art, and local flavor.
This year’s theme, “25 Years & Still Weird,” celebrates the bohemian, creative spirit that defines Gulfport. Expect jaw-dropping performances from aerialists, acrobats, magicians, fire-eaters, dancers, and costumed characters throughout the day. Interactive acts will bring the fun right to your fingertips—don’t be surprised if you find yourself part of a magic trick or posing with a balloon artist!
Explore dozens of local vendors offering handcrafted art, crafts, and gifts, along with an eclectic mix of food and drink to satisfy every taste. Support local businesses by shopping and dining at Gulfport’s colorful galleries, shops, and restaurants.
Costumes are highly encouraged! Show off your quirky creativity during the wacky walking parade at 6:00 PM, followed by a special birthday bash for G. Gordon McFly, Gulfport’s iconic public art installation by local artist Ray Domingo.
GeckoFest is part of Gecko World, a month-long series of events including the Gecko Art Show, Gecko Crawl, and Gecko Ball. Proceeds benefit local nonprofits including Tampa Bay Butterfly Foundation, Sonia Plotnick Health Fund, and St. Pete MAD, CANDL Corps.
Admission and Parking are complimentary. Courtesy shuttles also offer visitors an opportunity to park in off-site locations for transportation to and from their vehicle and the festival site.
