City of Milledgeville to Host Fourth of July Fireworks Celebration

The City of Milledgeville is excited to announce its annual Fourth of July Fireworks event, set to take place just after dark on Friday, from the campus of Central Georgia Technical College. This beloved community tradition promises to light up the sky and bring friends and families together in celebration of Independence Day.

This year, the City is especially thrilled to hold the event on the Fourth of July itself, allowing for a festive and patriotic evening that highlights the spirit of Milledgeville.

A special thanks goes out to the Milledgeville Fire Department, the Milledgeville Police Department and Central Georgia Technical College for their vital support. Their partnership ensures the safety and success of this community celebration, and we are grateful for their continued commitment to serving Milledgeville.

Residents and visitors are encouraged to arrive early, bring lawn chairs or blankets, and enjoy the show as the city honors America’s birthday with a spectacular fireworks display.
