Get ready to rumble at the J-Town Jog 5K and Mile on Saturday, June 7, 2025, an annual family-friendly event to kick off Johnstown Barbeque Day! Runners and walkers of all ages and abilities will enjoy the 5K and 1 Mile routes now located at Johnstown Reservoir, offering a fun, scenic, and relaxing venue for participants. While the course has moved from the historic downtown parade route, you can still count on energetic support from the community and a festive environment throughout the event! After the races, join the community for post-run festivities including music, food, and entertainment for the whole family. Celebrate your achievements with delicious food from local vendors and enjoy the camaraderie of fellow participants. Whether you're aiming for a podium finish or just looking for a fun outdoor activity, this event is one you will not want to miss.
Timing & Awards
The J-Town Jog 5K will be chip timed. A chip will be attached to the back of your bib. Your time will begin when you cross the starting line and stop when you cross the finish line. Overall and age-division awards will be determined by chip time.
Overall Awards will be given to the overall top 3 men and top 3 women.
Age Division Awards will be given to the top 3 men and women in the following age-groups:
[10 & below], [11-14], [15-19], [20-29], [30-39], [40-49], [50-59], [60-69], [70-79], & [80 & over]
The J-Town Jog Mile will be chip timed. Overall and age-division awards will be determined by clocked time at the finish line. All participants will receive a ribbon for completing the race.
Overall Awards will be given to the overall top 3 boys and top 3 girls (age 11 or younger).
Age Division Awards will be given to the top 3 boys and girls in the following age-groups: [6 & below], [7], [8], [9], [10], & [11]
