The Kansas City Regional Quilt Festival will be celebrating its 10 years of inspiration in the planning for our 2025 festival to be held June 11 -14, 2025, at the Overland Park Convention Center in the Kansas City marketplace. The Festival attracts award-winning quilters and educators from across the nation and highlights special exhibits honoring the art of quilting. Our goal is to continue to advance the art of quilting and its unique benefit to support community, wellness and self-confidence of the individual. Our goal is to build this community of quilting/sewing enthusiasts to be diverse and inclusive with inspiration for to grow in the future

Quilts:

KCRQF proudly showcases a diverse collection of quilts that celebrate creativity and craftsmanship. Our Judged Quilt exhibit provides an exciting opportunity for quilters to display their unique styles and techniques, with the chance to win prizes and ribbons. In addition, Special Quilt Exhibits highlight both established quilt artists and community quilt challenges. Guild Quilt Collections honor the essential contributions of the regional guilds, whose dedication and support make the festival possible.

Education:

KCRQF delivers a robust lineup of educational opportunities, including hands-on workshops, lectures, trunk shows, and interactive demos. Our carefully selected educators present cutting-edge techniques, tools, and trends, ensuring every stitcher leaves inspired and equipped with new skills. Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned expert, there’s something here for everyone.

Marketplace:

The KCRQF marketplace offers a curated shopping experience for all things stitching. We partner with vendors to provide access to fabric & fibers, tools, patterns, and more. Whether you’re looking for inspiration or the perfect product to complete your project, our marketplace has everything you need.

Generation Stitch - Youth Experience

KCRQF is dedicated to build the legacy of quilting to the next generation of stitchers by focusing on bringing Quilt contests, FREE Make-n-take classes, community block stitching and Innovative tools to inspire youth to dive into the world of stitching and show off your skills! Open to age categories of Youth (under 13), Middle/High School (13-18) and Young Adult (19-25)

Spotlight Quilter:

The introduction of the 2025 Spotlight Quilter program honors the unwavering dedication of our regional guilds, whose volunteer efforts make the festival possible This special feature will highlight one remarkable quilter from each guild, showcasing their talents and honoring the integral role they play in KCRQF’s continued success.
