First held in 1947, the Corn Festival began as a small neighborhood gathering with square dancing, bingo, and—of course—buttered corn. Since then, it has grown into one of the Lion's biggest events and fundraisers, drawing thousands of visitors for a weekend full of fun, food, and memories.
After listening to community feedback, we’re proud to share that the Corn Festival is returning to its traditional August dates—just the way so many locals remember it. And we’re stepping it up with even more thrilling rides, promising a weekend of celebration you won’t forget!
Schedule of Events:
1-2 p.m. - Ballet Folklorico "Asi Es Mi Tierra"
3-4 p.m. - Michael Graham and the Jam Band
5-7 p.m. - Chico Band
7 p.m. - Opportunity Drawing
