The Beth Wright Cancer Resource Center will be the sponsor of the 2025 Machias Blueberry 5-Mile Run/Walk and 1-Mile Fun Run/Walk.  Join us as we raise funds to support the Downeast Cancer Patient Navigation Program which provides caring, effective support for individuals facing cancer—helping them to access treatment and resources throughout  their cancer journey.  Additional donations are appreciated.  All donations are tax-deductible. 

For those who pre-register, pre-packet pick-up will be held at the Machias Valley Christian School Parking Lot (the old Machias Town Office), 118 Court Street, Machias, Maine, on Friday August 15, 2025, between 5pm and 7pm. and on Saturday August 16, 2025, beginning at 6am and CLOSING at 7am sharp. 

Day of the race: event registration will be at the Machias Valley Christian School Parking Lot (the old Machias Town Office), 118 Court Street, Machias, Maine, beginning at 6am and CLOSING at 7am sharp. The 5-mile race begins promptly at 8am, and the 1-mile event begins immediately following the start of the 5-mile race.  Awards will be presented following the race in the parking lot of the Machias Valley Christian School at 118 Court Street, Machias, Maine.

Awards for 1-Mile:
Top female & male ages: 8 & under, 9-10, & 11-14

Cost:

1-mile course: $25.00, or $30.00 on the day of the event.
5-mile course:  $35.00, or $40.00 on the day of the event.
