The 3rd Annual Run Club 5K event is sponsored by Matthews Social House (MSH Run Club).  The past two years our end-of-year 5K event was sponsored by Carolina Beer Temple, but it is the same fabulous event, route/location, prizes, and runners from our Run Club and surrounding Clubs.

The last 2 races were held on the morning of New Years Eve, but this year that would fall on a Tuesday and many might be working (sadly) so we moved our event to the Saturday before.  

Now you can start your New Year’s celebrations on the Saturday before, ramp up your excitement with this fabulous MSH Run Club 5K Race @ 8am, rest a bit, go to work if you must, come join our regular Run Club 1-3-5+ Mile run on Tuesday @ 6:45pm, then get ready to party the night away New Year’s Eve.  

Everyone and all paces are welcome to the MSH Run Club 5K - walking is a pace.  

This is a family-friendly 5K, but your family pets are not permitted to join the race.  

Your registration for this hugely popular 5K chip-timed event to cap off your 2024 accomplishments includes the requisite BIB, a Finisher Medal, a long sleeve sports tech/dry fit shirt, a Beer ticket, and a Raffle ticket for the celebrations after the Race at Matthews Social House.

Course Info:

The Race will start and end in Stumptown Park - Matthews and loop thru the Greenway, out and back, with the halfway point turnaround just past the Squirrel Lake Park marker.

Awards:

Top 3 Finisher (Male & Female) prizes will be awarded immediately following the Race at Stumptown Park. Celebrations will continue at Matthews Social House for beers and a raffle with multiple prizes.
