Celebrating the 100th anniversary of the repose of St. Tikhon of Moscow

St. Tikhon’s Monastery warmly invites you to come sing with our Festival Choir for the 121st annual Memorial Day Pilgrimage. This year’s pilgrimage commemorates the 100th anniversary of the repose of our founder, St. Tikhon of Moscow.

This year Memorial Day Liturgy will feature 2 choirs & antiphonal singing! Festival singers will be assigned into two choirs, and enjoy rehearsals conducted by both St. Tikhon’s choral director Anastasia Kappanadze and Archdiocesan choral director Juliana Woodill, culminating in the celebration of the Memorial Day Hierarchical Liturgy on Monday, May 26th.

Schedule:

9:00 a.m: Hierarchical Liturgy (Seminary Choir)
11:30 a.m: Pilgrimage Brunch in Monastery Dining Hall
1:00 p.m - 3:00 p.m: Festival Choir Rehearsal (Visiting participants only)
1:00 p.m - 3:30 p.m: St. Tikhon’s Seminary Commencement, gymnasium
4:00 p.m: Vigil, Monastery Church (kliros)
6:30 p.m: Pilgrimage Dinner in Monastery Dining Hall
