The Sparkler 5K is held every 4th of July as a holiday tradition for many families. The course starts and ends on the track at the Merrimack High School inMerrimack, NH. The race starts at 8 am, followed by light refreshments and awards. Preceding the race, there is a kids race on the track.
Awards:
Top 2 overall male and female, then top 2 male and female in each age group
Results will be posted and there will be an awards table for pick up​
Age Groups:
1-8, 9-11, 12-15, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+
Racing Details:
Runners are asked to line up by expected pace at the starting line
3/4 loop of the track, around the back of the high school to O'Gara, right on Baboosic, right on McElwain, around the back of high school for second loop, finish on track
Kids Fun Run:
Free to all runners
Starts at 7:40 am on the high school track 400 meters on the track (full lap) No registration required All participants will receive a finisher's medal!
Entry Fee Schedule:
On or before March 31, 2025: adults $30.00, youth (13 and younger) $25.00
April 1st, 2025 to July 2nd, 2025 at 6:00pm: adults $35.00, youth (13 and younger) $30.0
Registration after July 2 will be available $40 for all participants.
Race day registration will be available. Keep in mind we are cashless so please have a credit card available.
