The Mini Donut Half Marathon has 13.1 miles of the area's most spectacular views! The start line for the half marathon is at the intersection of 4th Avenue and Riders Club Road in Onalaska, WI, (just past the Omni Center and near the Onalaska YMCA). After the start, runners follow the beautiful Great River State Trail for approximately 8 miles (just past Lytle's Landing) before turning around and finishing at Swarthout Park on Brice's Prairie. This is a timed event. ALL finishers receive a medal, a high quality technical event shirt, and additional race swag. There are also division awards.
The 5K Honor Walk/Run begins at Swarthout Park on Brice's Prairie near the finish line of the half marathon. Participants will walk or run 1.5 miles towards the Upper Mississippi River National Wildlife adn Fish Refuge Visitor Center, run the South Loop Trail and then back to Swarthout Park for the finish line. THE 5K IS A TIMED EVENT! ALL 5K finishers with a bib will receive a medal and a high quality technical event shirt. Awards are given to the overall male and female winners.
