Mint Hill Madness is a festival to celebrate the founding of the Town. Mint Hill Madness has something for everyone in the family; delicious food; great music ranging from country to rock; a fantastic family carnival; and of course, a spectacular firework show. Mint Hill Events Inc. has been working hard to plan another great event.

11:00 AM- 3:00 PM: Novant Health COVID-19 Vaccine and Flu Clinic

The Novant Health Community Cruiser will be on-site administering COVID-19 vaccines and flu shots.

Information about scheduling an appointment will be available closer to the date of the event.

A Farmer's Market run by kids. The Children’s Entrepreneur Market is an award-winning program that teaches young people about the power of entrepreneurship, innovation and leadership through experiential learning.

3:00-5:45 PM: Captain Mike & The Shipwrecked (Jimmy Buffett Tribute)

Captain Mike & the Shipwrecked is a premier Jimmy Buffett tribute band, playing all the Parrot Head hits and deep cuts from the Coral Reefer catalog. High energy evening with music to set your sails too.

Captain Mike has always been drawn to life on the water. After attending UNCW, he moved to New Smyrna Beach, Florida, spending his days on the beach and his nights playing the bars for the tourist. Moving back to Charlotte to pursue music full time, He makes sure he carves out time to head to the Caribbean every year to island hop and sail around.

Jimmy Buffett is the playlist every trip and now it is time to honor his legacy and continue to play these songs for old parrot heads and new fans alike.

6:30-7:30 PM: DJ Big C

DJ Big C is a Charlotte native. Starting his career DJing CMS and CHS school dances while in college. He spent many years as a corporate traveling DJ. He has worked with artists such as Green Velvet, Brook Legends and JOHNNY. From Club residencies, school dances, college formals, private parties, Corporate Events and Festivals, there is nothing DJ Big C can’t cater the music to!

6:30-9:30 PM: Kids in America (80's Tribute)

Kids in America is an 80’s Tribute from Charlotte, NC. Performing the New Wave-Pop-Dance-Rock hits ALL from the BIG 80’s! Not only do they perform these songs with 3 lead singers, but they bring a total 80’s experience to the stage, complete with costuming and antics…for an amazing high energy show!

9:30 PM: Fireworks Extravaganza

Join us for our all american, patriotic tribute to the USA with our fan favorite Fireworks Extravaganza. This years show promises to WOW all ages and be one of the largest in the southeast.
