Air travel demand in the Asia-Pacific will soon reach pre-pandemic levels. Amid heightened geopolitical tensions, strengthening aviation connectivity is crucial for regional prosperity, sustainable growth and global stability. Japan has reinforced its role as a key hub connecting ASEAN and the U.S. With increasing travel demand comes an urgent need to improve airport infrastructure and air traffic management, address HR shortages, and develop sustainability measures across the region. This symposium will bring together government officials from Japan and the U.S., airline and airport representatives, and ASEAN stakeholders to discuss ways to enhance aviation connectivity in the Asia-Pacific region.

Live performances among the blossoms at the Tidal Basin celebrate the longstanding friendship between the U.S. and Japan with a dynamic, cross-cultural mix of American, Japanese, and other performing arts. This year, we are expecting over 100 performances on the ANA Stage. Get ready to experience a variety of genres: Americana,  Bluegrass, Country, Jazz, Pop, RandB, and Rock. Expect a diverse array of dance styles and performances, including Japanese, Eastern European, Colombian, Indian, Flamenco, Tap and Clogging, Zumba, and double dutch!
