Three young actresses in Atlanta, Georgia are attempting to make it big in a cheesy movie about cheerleader vampires. The circumstances are not ideal; it’s hot, the movie is low funded and poorly written, and the director is a nightmare to work with. They struggle to find the balance between respecting the director, but not letting him take advantage of their naivety and youth.

Bio.

Sophia Laia is currently a senior film/theatre major at The New School. She has been acting, singing and playwriting since middle school. Sophia describes her work as deeply satirical and full of dark comedy. Some of her acting credits include: Everybody (Understanding/Usher), Dryland (Amy) and The Last Five Years (Cathy).
