The Noyo Harbor District is thrilled to announce the 3rd annual Harbor Festival! We are switching things up this year, and the festival will focus on locally caught sustainable seafood, our maritime heritage and PIRATES! This year’s festival falls on International Pirate Day! Come on down and help us celebrate all things Noyo Harbor.  

Schedule of Events:

10:00-11:00 AM Dock Walk

Join the Harbormaster for a Dock Walk and learn about the boats that moor in the marina, the fisheries they participate in, and how they work day to day. 

11:00-12:00 PM Hard Hat Diving Demo

After the Dock Walk Captain Kirk Marshall will be showing off his collection of hard diving hats. Kirk, an experienced commercial diver, has collected and built an impressive collection of hats that would make any pirate blush. 

11:00 -4:00 PM – Craft Vendors at Grader Park

Wander through our local vendors and find treasures 

11:00 to 2:00 PM – Fillet Competition at Grader Park 

Are you the fastest filleter this side of Willits? Find out at the fillet competition. 

Sign up at the Noyo Fishing Center or with Nick at the Harbor Office.

12:00 to 4:00 PM Noyo Center for Marine Science Open House

3:00 PM Casting Competition

No need to be cast away when you can be the best caster in the harbor.

3:00 PM – Pirate Float and River Clean Up

Hosted by Mendocino Kayak’s at the Upper Launch Ramp (End of Basin Drive in S. Harbor)

Come dressed in your best pirate outfit and paddle down the Noyo! It’s also California Coastal Cleanup Day, so we will be picking up trash as we find it in the Noyo.

No need to sign up, just show up and have fun 

4:00 PM – Fisherman’s Relay Race at Grader Park

Come test your fishing skills at the Fisherman’s Relay Race. From grappling string lines to donning survival suits, how fast can you go? No need to sign up early, just show up!
