National Night Out will be held on Tuesday, August 5th in the Lower parking lot of the Chartley Shopping Center from 6:30 to 8:30 pm. It is an annual community-building event that promotes police-community partnerships and provides information, displays and demonstrations on safety, health,  emergency preparedness and community programs in the area. There will be limited FREE snacks from Chick-fil-A, The COW, Mission BBQ, Cotton Candy, Kettle Korn and non-alcoholic drinks. Entertainment, games, mascots, and FREE gift card raffles. Everyone is welcome to enjoy a free night of fun and information!

The Police Franklin Precinct will be managing two events besides answering questions and providing information. They will be holding the Bike Raffles (1 boy's and 1 girl's 20" bike) - and distributing bicycle helmets while supplies last.

They will also be collecting items for the Reisterstown United Methodist Food Pantry. The most needed items include:

Macaroni and Cheese, Peanut Butter, Jelly, Cereal, Canned Tuna, Canned Chicken, Spaghetti Noodles, Canned Soups, and Canned Vegetables
