AS220's Empire Street Complex
115 Empire Street,

Join us for the second annual ShePVD Women's Arts Festival!

ShePVD aims to amplify women in the arts by creating a stage where they can showcase their talents and share their work with the world.

Performers this year include:

Ashley Soto, a singer, dancer, and actress who has performed as far away as LA, Texas, and Mexico! When off the stage, Soto works as a clinician at Communities for People. Love that!

Marcia Ranglin-Vassel is a poet whose writing style is heavily influenced by her childhood in Jamaica. She uses poetry to reflect the socio-political realities of her time and acts as a beacon of hope for the world. Amazing!

Kim Fuller is an author and photographer who has spoken on the TEDx stage empowering women to stand in their power. She encourages us to recognize the beauty in ourselves so that we may live a confident, peaceful life. Yes!
Aubrey Atwater is a folk musician, vocalist, and dancer. She plays several instruments and presents captivating music in a scholarly yet humorous way to convey the heritage behind the folk tradition. Bravo!

Dawn King has been performing her comedy all over New England for close to 10 years. When not performing, she's getting inspired through her work and hobbies, including working some funny voices on her loyal dog. We're here for it, Dawn!

Alyssa Goldstein is a spoken-word artist with a passion for community work. When she isn't writing poetry, she's studying to become a school librarian.

This event is FREE to the public thanks to generous funding from grants and sponsorships. Reserve your tickets at the link.

Huge thanhks to the Providence Tourism Council, Hamel, Waxler, Allen and Collins, Sin Bakery (and more to be named!) for your wonderful, generous support. Without you, none of this would be possible!
