Join the Duluth Area Family YMCA and Downtown Duluth on Wednesday, July 9th to kick off Sidewalk Days with the 17th annual Sidewalk Shuffle 5K walk and run. Participate with a team or race individually to help us raise funds to ensure that Y programming, memberships, and lifesaving community resources are available FOR ALL.
Food trucks, Johnny B's and Bridgeman's, will be back again to join us down at Endion station! We will also have plenty of yard games for families and friends who come to watch or shufflers who finish early. There will be plenty of fun things to do along with participating in the 5k and lots of food, for purchase, so bring the whole family and/or friends and join us at Endion station!
START TIME: 12:00 P.M.
AGES: 6 and older-family-friendly! Strollers and wheelchairs are welcome.
COURSE: The race will start and finish at the Lakewalk at Endion Station. The course is an out and back, heading East up the shore along the Lakewalk.
AWARD CATEGORIES: 1st Place Youth (6-12) Male & Female, 1st Place Teen (13-17) Male & Female, 1-3rd place Adult (18+) Male & Female, 1st place Teams Male & Female, Co-Ed Team. Team results will be based on the 4 fastest finishers of each team. Co-ed teams must have at least 2 people of the opposite gender on the team. Maximum of 5 Shufflers per team.
