MAINSTAGE PRODUCTIONS

3:00 PM: The Innkeeper by Basement Stair Collective

Taking inspiration from Japanese folklore, Basement Stair Collective uses their signature style of movement, puppetry and play to tell a tale where a traveler suspects there is more to their hosts than meets the eye…meow.

4:30 PM: LARRY by Candy Roberts

When the band doesn’t arrive, tech guy Larry tries his darndest to convince the audience that he can do the show. What could go wrong? Performed by award-winning Canadian artist, Candy Roberts. 

DOUBLE FEATURES

1:30 PM: “Bubblegum” by  Daniela Nenova & "The Mummy's Purse" by Puppeteers for Fears

Sesame Street. Chernobyl. 1984. Dive into the  eccentrically disturbing world of BUBBLEGUM, a not-for-children  children’s TV show. Join our live studio-audience and experience  nostalgia, 20 things to do with gum, a song of the day, an anarchist  survival guide disguised as a puppet, and more! From last year’s star of the Macabre Cabaret, Daniela Nenova. 

In “The Mummy’s Purse” an Egyptian mummy pursues a pair of tomb raiders across the globe to return a lost backpack--and maybe **** their souls. From acclaimed Ashland, OR-based musical-comedy troupe, Puppeteers for Fears.

7:30 PM: Curated storytelling event in collaboration with Telltale. 90 minutes.

9 PM: Film screening of a surprise B-horror film, with live commentary from local comedians. $25 suggested donation. 90 minutes.

9 AM - 1 PM: Monster mask-making workshop taught by Adam Ende from Jawbone Puppet Theatre.

Performance art & installations, happening on October 11th and 18th at 6:00 PM, and next door in the lobby of the Cuomo Theatre Collaborative in between performances on the 10th, 11th, 17th and 18th. Performance lengths vary. No ticket required for entry, but tipping the artists is encouraged.
