2024 Stride For Sight “Saving Sight, Changing Lives” is a family and pet friendly 5K run/walk hosted by two partnering community organizations. Our mission in hosting the run/walk is to educate and inspire the community about the Gift of Sight, healthy vision, and to build awareness for the resources that our partners offer.
Our event Unites individuals and organizations whom are supportive of our mission, Remembers local cornea/eye donors who gave the ultimate gift of sight, gives Hope to those who are need of cornea transplants, as well as those whom rely on free vision exams and those in need of the services provided by a guide dog.
This event has it all! Music and entertainment, t-shirts and age group awards for the 5K, breakfast tacos and fruit, team awards and recognition, Guide dogs AND lazy dogs are welcome! Donor memorial quilts will be displayed.

8:00 am Registration/packet pick up opens
9:00 am Opening ceremony
9:15 am Zumba Dance Warm-Up
9:30 am Remembrance Tribute/Memorial Release
9:40 am – FREE Kids’ Fun Run for ages 10 and under (Kids do not need to register online for the fun run.)
10:00 am Run/Walk Start
11:00 am Awards and Recognition
This is a manually timed 5k.
5K Awards: Overall Male/Female, Top 3 in each age group
15 and under, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+
