Schedule of Events:

10:00 am: Music on the Green: Kolby Morris-Dahary

This event is free to attend and does not require tickets. All Music on the Green performances take place at the Yampa River Botanic Park.

Join us every Wednesday morning this summer for our weekly free concert series, co-presented by the Yampa River Botanic Park. With concerts lasting just 45 minutes, it's the perfect way to enjoy a summer morning.

This week's featured artist, Rabbi Kolby Morris-Dahary, is the Rabbi of Har Mishpacha: Jewish Congregation of Steamboat and the founder and director of STAND (Steamboat Team to Disrupt Antisemitism and Discrimination). With backgrounds in vocal music performance, ethnomusicology, and West African percussion and dance, Rabbi Kolby is passionate about integrating music from diverse cultures and traditions into her work. This summer, she looks forward to bringing these rich musical influences to Strings, creating an experience for all ages that celebrates global cultural music.

Rabbi Kolby is dedicated to fostering inclusive communities, engaging in interfaith dialogue, and advocating for social justice. She lives with her family in Oak Creek, and they are excited to come dance at the green with us! Through her leadership, she strives to educate our Yampa Valley community about how to become upSTANDers, while nurturing spiritual growth and connection within our Jewish community.

7:00 pm - 8:00 pm: Twilight Yoga in the Strings Festival Park

Join us Wednesday evenings July 2 - August 13 at 7pm as teachers from Harmony Yoga lead an all-levels yoga class set to classical music. $10 Suggested Donation.

Bring your yoga mat and a buddy to sunset classes in our beautiful Festival Park. Teachers from Harmony Yoga will lead all-levels, all-ages classes to the sounds of Strings' classical evening concert. Classes focus on breath for grounding, movement for alignment of energy and extra-long savasana for embodiment of our practice. The Van Cliburn International Piano Competition, established in 1962, has long been revered as a launching pad for exceptional pianistic talent. Held every four years in Fort Worth, Texas, the 2025 edition is scheduled from May 21 to June 7, with the winner emerging as a beacon of musical excellence.

While the identity of the 2025 Gold Medalist remains to be determined, the caliber of past winners-including luminaries like Radu Lupu, Olga Kern, and Yunchan Lim-assures us of an artist whose performance will be both inspiring and unforgettable.
