New World Symphony

Antonín Dvo?ák’s Symphony No. 9 in E Minor (“From the New World”) is a centerpiece of the opening concert on June 25th. Joined by trumpet virtuoso Scott Macomber, the program will also feature Joseph Haydn’s Trumpet Concerto, known for its innovative use of the newly invented keyed trumpet, and Coleridge-Taylor’s energetic Ballade in A Minor, a piece brimming with vibrant orchestral color.
