In 2025 Swedish Days will be held June 18-22.  Geneva Swedish Days is 75 years old this year and celebrates the heritage of Swedish immigrants who settled in the area. Craft beer tent, a carnival, a Kids’ Day, nightly entertainment and a parade are part of the festivities. Merchants host special sales and in-store events, as well as sponsoring main festival programs and donating in-kind services. Food stands throughout the downtown area tempt visitors with Swedish and American menus.

Exhibitions - Geneva History Museum, 113 S. Third St.
Visit three museum galleries. $5/person; $2/seniors, students, & children; FREE Museum members and Trolley participants.

Eat Your Heart Out Geneva" - Explore the rich history of Geneva's restaurants, showcasing their unique contributions to the community. Geneva’s Story - sharing our town’s history with rare artifacts, a movie theatre, and a story booth. “Little Chefs: Serving Up Fun and Learning” — a hands-on kids exhibition where visitors can step into the world of a bustling restaurant.

Stop by the Library for a week of Swedish Days fun! Enjoy the indoor play area and Swedish-themed drop-in crafts in Kids Landing and visit our 2nd floor exhibition space to see Freya the dragon and the LEGO® model of our building.

Geneva History Museum Trolley Tours - Corner of South Third & Campbell Streets (departure & return) $25/person
Enjoy a 45-minute, air-conditioned, guided trolley tour of Geneva including fun stories of houses, businesses and early settlers. Tours leave each hour, on the hour. Participants will receive a swag bag full of offers from Geneva businesses and free admission to all three exhibitions in the Geneva History Museum. Craft beer enthusiasts will appreciate this experience. Expanded craft beer selection from Penrose Brewing Company, Stockholm’s and Art History Brewing every day. Hop Water will have a non-alcoholic beer option available as well. Visit with friends and enjoy this tented event through Sunday. A compelling performer from Chicago, Illinois, Matt Keen expertly combines the gritty intensity of rock with the heartfelt melodies of folk music. Keen crafts a musical experience that is both exhilarating and profoundly touching because of his mastery of both genres.

Grab a cold drink, settle in with friends, and enjoy the classic fun of BINGO—complete with prizes, laughs, and that unbeatable festival energy. It's the perfect way to start the celebration!

4:30 pm - Central Stage – Swedish Midsummer Procession & Swedish American Children’s Choir
Join the musicians and singers from the Swedish American Children's Choir from St. Charles, as they open the festival and welcome you with a traditional Swedish Välkommen. There will be music, songs and audience participation dances reflecting Swedish Midsummer. Celebrating their 24th year, the Swedish American Children's Choir and Musicians are the largest choir of their kind in the Midwest. Singers 4-18 years old learn about the Scandinavian culture through the arts. They have performed on WGN TV in Chicago, the Scandinavian Festival of Wisconsin, at American Girl Place, National Convention of the American Union of Swedish Singers and they were chosen as a featured choir for the Chicago Cultural Alliance-Inherit Chicago music series.

5:30 pm - Central Stage – Geneva Park District
Enjoy live performances by the Geneva Park District’s Angels Cheer & Poms Team, the Geneva Gymnastics Academy, Playhouse 38 youth performers, and the Geneva Park District’s Sunset Dance Academy.

7:00 pm - Central Stage – Geneva’s Got Talent Semi-Finals
Cheer on your favorite Geneva’s Got Talent performers as they compete in the GGT Semi-Finals for the chance to move on to the Finals and ultimately win a cash prize! Geneva’s Got Talent is a cooperative talent competition co-presented by the Geneva Chamber of Commerce, the Geneva Park District and Sounds Like Music.
