The Texas Crab Festival is a one-of-a-kind celebration of coastal culture, delicious seafood, and family-friendly fun! Since its humble beginnings in 1985, when a group of local business leaders sought to boost tourism in Crystal Beach, the festival has grown into a beloved annual tradition, attracting thousands of visitors each Mother’s Day weekend.
Now Celebrating its 40th year, the Texas Crab Festival has been recognized as one of USA Today’s “10 Best Festivals to Dive Into” and featured on Food Network’s Eating America with Anthony Anderson.

2:00 p.m: Scavenger Hunt - No Entry Fee
A great event for the whole family as you explore the Festival. The Hunt starts at 2:00 pm. Follow the clues to find all the treasures on the festival grounds. Cash prizes to the winners.
All Weekend:
Crab Races
A highlight of the festival, drawing in visitors eager to partake in this unique tradition. Cheer for your favorite speedy crabs as they scuttle across the track.
