Nautical Soirée
A night of music for choir and chamber orchestra, inspired by the heroic age of sailing and the tales of Ishmael aboard the Pequod.
Performers join us from the Grace Chorale, Brooklyn Treble Choir, New York Choir Project, and the Brooklyn Conservatory Orchestra.
Created in collaboration with artistic director Stanzi Vaubel and the Indeterminacy Festival, this preview performance showcases a developing choral and chamber composition "Into the Charmed Churned Circle" for a June 2025 premiere at Snug Harbor Cultural Center. This project is made possible by the generous support of New York State Council of the Arts.
