Camp Decorah is the origin of the Bluffland Traverse, a point to point route running from the northern end of La Crosse County to the southern end following the Mississippi River and the Bluffs that overlook it. Learn more about the Bluffland Traverse here.
This race offers trail runs and mountain bike racing through a property with a northwoods feel located amongst the bluffs and rivers of the Driftless.
The race course loops through beautiful Camp Decorah, offering a blend of single track and double track trails and a trail run that meanders through majestic white pines. Expect gentle elevation changes as you wind through iconic summer camp sights.
Our spacious property will offer music, picnic tables, food options, port-a-potties, air-conditioned buildings, and on-site first aid. We invite you to relax and enjoy the property before and after your race.

Race Times:
7:00 AM: 5-Mile and 10-Mile Trail Run Begins
9:30 AM: 5-Mile and 10-Mile Mountain Bike Race Begins
10:00 AM: 15-Mile and 20-Mile Mountain Bike Race Begins
Family Fun Fest and Kids Activities:
6:45-9:00 AM
-Continental Breakfast in Dining Hall, Songs, Skits and Make a Medal Craft
9:00 AM - 12:00 PM:
-Check in at 9-9:30AM
-Kids Camp: Groups will be led around by counselors- activities including a bouldering wall, sling sports, outdoor cooking,fishing at the pond, crafts and the tree house. Activities are suitable for ages 5 – 12.
12:00PM Kids Race featuring a ¼-mile run and bike race (must bring a bike and helmet). Free Kid Races is targeted at 12 and Under, although they are allowed to register and pay for an official race.
1:00-3:00 PM:
-Open Camp: Archery and BB Guns, Crafts, Fishing, Bouldering Wall, Tree House, Nature Center. Youth must be accompanied by an adult during this time.
