The Turner County Fair is a free gate four day fair in August. We pride ourselves on our wide array of 4-H exhibits, specialty food (including lamb chislic, homemade ice cream, tri-tip sandwiches, homemade pie, pork loin sandwiches, elephant ears and so much more), commercial exhibits, midway, and contests that are sure to delight. Located in Parker, SD, the Turner County Fair is South Dakota's OLDEST running fair. A 30-member volunteer-based board presides over the Turner County Fair with more than 200 volunteers who help during fair week to make the Turner County Fair possible. The fair gives local 4-H members the opportunity to showcase their projects while also serving as an unofficial end to summer with four fun-filled days before summer ends and school starts.
