“Another of Wisconsin’s Germanic-inspired festivals, Wauktoberfest comes to the village of Waunakee each year, never failing to deliver a whole host of amusement. There’s authentic, top notch German food, live music, and several quirky German-themed competitions including Sauerkraut eating, the Dachshund Dash, and the Frau Carry. Despite the presence of Teutonic booze, kids are at the heart of the action too, with inflatables, pumpkin decorating, a vendor fair, and more for them to enjoy.”

Tickets: $45 in Advance/$55 at the door.

Contestants shall eat their plate of Limburger cheese cubes as fast as possible.
Copper Box - 3:00-6:00 PM
Polka, Rock, Blues! Playing familiar songs with a twist in a multi-genre accord.
Brat Toss - 4:00 PM
Don’t drop your wurst! Teams of two compete to see who can throw and catch a bratwurst at the longest distance.
Sauerkraut Eating Contest - 5:00 PM
Contestants shall eat their cans of sauerkraut as fast as possible!
Art on Main Auction - 6:00 PM
