Calling all water sport enthusiasts: Lake Havasu City is your destination for fun in the sun! If you crave a vacation full of excitement, try your hand at wakeboarding, wakesurfing or waterskiing along the shorelines through glassy water surrounded by desert mountains and canyon scenery. Wakeboarding, wakesurfing, and water skiing at Lake Havasu provides perfect slalom, speed, or major air runs. Come and experience all the lake has to offer; from cove hopping to blazing through the main body of water - whatever "floats your boat!"
Wakeboarding near Skiers Island Premier skiing destinations are near the south end of the lake. Just north of Copper Canyon, Skiers' Island and Skiers' Coves One, Two, and Three (between mile markers 48 and 60) are among the most popular to explore (see Lake Map below). No matter how many boats are on the lake, or how harsh the weather conditions, smooth water is almost never far. There are no size restrictions or speed limits on the lake, with the exception of clearly marked no-wake zones and other restricted areas.
For those just starting out, professional wakeboarding and waterskiing lessons are available, as well as boat rentals.
